✂️ ClipMaster
Instant clip triggers for OBS, Streamlabs, and more. Set custom durations, add overlays, and save clips to any folder — all from a single Stream Deck key.
Installation
ClipMaster installs directly through the Elgato Marketplace or via the .streamDeckPlugin file below.
Option A — Elgato Marketplace (recommended)
- Open the Stream Deck app on your computer.
- Click the More Actions button (bottom-right of the action list).
- Search for ClipMaster and click Install.
- The plugin appears in your action list under ClipMaster.
Option B — Manual install
- Download the latest ClipMaster.streamDeckPlugin file from GitHub.
- Double-click the file — the Stream Deck app opens and prompts you to install.
- Click Install to confirm.
Initial setup
After installing, drag a ClipMaster action onto any key to get started.
- Drag the Clip Trigger action from the ClipMaster section onto a key.
- In the Property Inspector (right panel), choose your recording software: OBS, Streamlabs, or the built-in replay buffer.
- Set your preferred clip duration (default: 30 seconds).
- Optionally, set a save folder for clips. Leaving this blank uses your software's default location.
- Press the key to save your first clip and confirm it appears in the folder.

FAQ
Troubleshooting
If something isn't working, try these steps in order:
- Restart the Stream Deck software. Many issues resolve with a fresh restart — quit from the system tray, then reopen.
- Check your software version. ClipMaster requires Stream Deck 6.4+. OBS users need OBS 29+.
- Re-install the plugin. Go to More Actions, find ClipMaster, uninstall, then reinstall from the Marketplace.
- Check the logs. On Windows:
%APPDATA%\Elgato\StreamDeck\logs. Look for errors from ClipMaster. - Still stuck? Email support with your log file attached and your OS + software versions.
